It is amazing to me how ‘compassion’ can be labeled liberal! Seems like if you have an emphasis on mercy ministry you are accused of promoting a social gospel. Oh well, Jesus was called and labeled many things–that leaves us in good company.
A great book that about the compassion of Christ, following Him and being part of the kingdom is “This Beautiful Mess” by Rick McKinley. Everyone should read this book!
